Rivers is a 5 year old, 15.3 hand, red sorrel Belgian/Quarter Horse cross gelding. Talk about fancy, functional, and gentle enough for everyone. Rivers has a big personality and a resume to match. This gentle horse has done all aspects of ranch work in the vast Nebraska sand hills; doctoring cattle outside, dragging calves to the branding fire, sorting and loading pairs and much more. Rivers has an excellent arena handle, he carries himself very correctly and has a soft responsive feel. He picks up his leads, moves well off your feet and has a good stop. He also has a extensive background in the harness. He drives single, double, or multiple! Take him through town, down the highway or just around the farm and he is safe and aims to please. All that aside, Rivers is the kind of horse you throw anyone on for a trail ride in the mountains, a swim in the river or a competition of your choosing. Good to shoe, clip, and bathe, up to date on all dental, vaccines, wormer, and farrier.
