GUYS SNIP

DESCRIPTION:

Guy is a beautiful 13-year-old registered bay gelding standing 14.3 hands. He is stout from the horn down with shape written all over him. This gelding has truly seen it all—used extensively in the mountains doing ranch work, gathering and doctoring cattle, checking fence in rough terrain, trail riding, and arena work.

Guy has an outstanding mind and is a pleasure to be around. He loves being groomed and will practically fall asleep while you brush him. He loads and unloads easily, stands tied, and is quiet to saddle.

Out on the trail, nothing phases him. He will cross water, downed logs, and steep hills with confidence. He rides out alone or in a group and is not picky about his position in the line.

In the arena, Guy is soft, broke, and easy to ride. He is very light in the face, rides on a loose rein, has a slow walk, smooth trot, and a soft, low-headed lope. He takes both leads, has a big stop, side-passes both directions, and has a nice turnaround with a correct spin both ways.

Guy is up to date on all vet and farrier care and is the kind that’s safe, solid, and ready to go to work or enjoy.
